Welcome to the Tahoma Drama Clubs Website
Tahoma Drama Clubs include the drama clubs from Tahoma Middle School, Cedar River Middle School, Tahoma Jr. High School, and Tahoma High School in Tahoma School District - Maple Valley, WA. In addition, this site is also the home of the Tahoma Drama Booster Club. Founded in 2008, the mission of the booster club is to support the drama clubs within the Tahoma School District for grades 6-12.
Students in grades 8 and 9 have the opportunity each fall to audition for a non-musical one act production.
Students in grades 6-9 have the opportunity each year to audition for the Jr. High/Middle School Winter Musical. Students learn acting, singing, and dancing techniques and learn to perform in a musical play with a professional Broadway script. Many students have moved on to programs in which they receive professional training and some have been performing locally in professional theatres.
Students in grades 10-12 have the opportunity to audition for a non musical play in the fall and a High School Spring musical.
Junior High/Middle School productions are directed by Earlene DeLeon
High School non musicals are directed by Rich Young - musical productions are directed by Melissa Corby
